SPRING 2014 FLAG FOOTBALL
COACH MEETINGS
If you would like to help coach your child's team, please try attending one of the meetings below. At the meeting we will be discussing all aspects of coaching as well as demonstrating all drills from the coach packet camp curriculum, as well as answering any questions and a chance to meet the head coach.
YORK: Saturday, April 5th at 9am at Springettsbury Park. Meets at pavilion beside tennis courts.
LANCASTER: Saturday, April 5th at 12pm at Longs Park. Meets at pavilion beside playground area.
HERSHEY: Saturday, April 5th at 3pm at Founders Park. Meets at field beside parking area.
NEW OXFORD: Sunday, April 6th at 12pm at New Oxford High. Meets beside football field parking area.
CAMP HILL: Sunday, April 6th at 2pm at Trinity High. Meets at grass area beside parking lot behind school.
Again you only need to attend one of these, whichever is closest to you or more convenient. If you are unable to make it to any of the meetings, you may still help coach. However it is very helpful to see the demonstrations and ensure you are on the same page when coaching your team.
We try having as many coaches on the field as possible to ensure that we can prevent players from having to stand in lines at drill stations. It is also very helpful to have more than 1 coach per team when playing games. So even if you have little coaching experience, your help would still be appreciated.
